Resin bound, also known as ‘trowelled’ paving, is made from a mixture of natural stones and a clear UV resistant resin. To guarantee each stone is coated in resin, the resin and stones are combined in a force-action mix process to form a mixture that is then poured (trowelled) onto the driveway surface.

The newly formed mixture of stones and resin is then hand-trowelled to form a smooth surface with no loose stones or join marks. Resin bound surfaces require little maintenance to keep looking great and will look as good as new with a simple high-pressure jet wash.

A raised brick, stone, concrete or steel edging is required to frame and contain the Resin Bound surface. Which we can discuss with you to design the best-looking result for your driveway.
